June Already!

April brought new excitement with two firsts: the Whitsundays and scuba diving! Whitehaven's white sands are all they are rumoured to be, but you can only get there by boat. Our Reefjet picked us up from Arlie Beach, stopped on Hook Island, where we bushwalked to some fabulous views of the islands, then to Whitsunday Island for snorkelling and Whitehaven beach. Second trip with Cruise Whitsundays we went out to The Great Barrier Reef (Knuckle Reef lagoon) where a pontoon was set up for lots of fun, including scuba diving with a friendly Maori Wrasse swim-way model named "Bubba." We also rented a car and drove to cedar Creek Falls, Coyote Beach and Bowen's Giant Mango and King's Beach.
